Peace Is Perfection Empty
PostSubject: Peace Is Perfection   Peace Is Perfection EmptyThu Jan 02, 2014 5:44 pm

Raven decided to watch Lilith practice today, as she usually does. Raven wasn't planning on going into the Hunger Games, in fact, she'd probably make someone volunteer for her or something if it came down to it. She was too weak, fighting wasn't her thing. She wasn't one of those crazy careers who could survive a stab in the eye and win. She might even die in the Bloodbath, so it wasn't likely that she would make it to the end. Hopefully Lilith would volunteer for her if she would.. Raven knew that Lilith had some anger issue of some kind of sort, but she knew that somewhere deep inside, she was really sweet, and she cared. Raven just would just have to see. The Games had been going on for 24 years, and now it's the 25th. Everyone seems so calm, as if they got used to it. There's rumors about a twist to the Games this year, and Raven wants no part of it at all.

Lilith didn't know how she felt. Lost, angry, scared... She was too good at hiding all those feelings, and now she didn't even know what she felt anymore. Being the cold and aggressive girl had never made her the sweet girl everyone admired and loved, but it gained her respect. People feared her, and that's exactly what she wanted them to do.

Fear, was just a trick of the mind. Same thing love was. In truth, there was no fear and there was no love. Humans created those feelings just to have something to blame for. But Lilith had learned not to trust fear. And certainly, never trust love.

Today, it was the 25th Hunger Games. The Reaping would be soon, but Lilith was ready. There was no trembling. No worry. No anxiety. She was ready. Cold as a stone, and with a strong, yet emotionless look. Lilith just knew that if she was going to be Reaped, she would have to kill. This game was not for fun. You win, or you die. There was no middle ground, and everyone knew it. Her brother knew it when he was Reaped. And now he is dead. Just like her Father.

She drew another arrow and turned to look at Raven, releasing the arrow without even looking.
Soon after she heard something fall in the water, and she knew she had once again hit something.
"I don't get this..."

Raven knew that something was up with Lilith. But just what exactly? She was the master at hiding feelings, especially the ones everyone wanted to see, so she seemed like a very closed off person, very independent. "You don't get what?" she asked. Maybe Lilith was finally letting her guard down. Maybe Raven finally would see what was really going on inside of her head. It was time to have the real talk. She sat silent as the last leaf fell from the tree, that was transitioning into winter.

Lilith wasn't usually the talkative person, but she didn't know what else to do. She was an ace killer, yes, but was she a girl anymore? Where did all this feelings she should be feeling go?
They died, along with her father and brother.

She still remembered watching her brother die. Not by an animal. Not by a sword. She saw the arrow go through his heart. She watched him fall to his knees. She watched those blue eyes of his that she so loved close. Her angel was dead, and that day she had promised to kill. That was her life from that day. Killing.

"I don't get how I can kill so... emotionless... I just... don't aim, don't see, don't feel.."
She stared at Raven and simply drew another arrow, placing it on her bow. She turned the bow upside down behind her back, all the time not even looking, and released the arrow, listening something fall in the water once again. "See? I don't even miss!"

Raven shook her head. "This is why I don't want to ever have to do anything like that," she said. Raven had too much heart to even raise a hand at someone to smack them, what makes her think that she could ever rase a gun to shoot? "I'm too.. I'm too nice." she said. But she still had a little backbone. "But," she said strongly. "If I were to be attacked, and I could possibly go home. I would take my chances." she stated. Of course it would be fair for her to kill if she had a good enough reason. Like if she was attacked first, but some people you wouldn't be able to see. She'd have to pay much more attention than she does.
